Magpie Goose at Telstra Perth Fashion Festival

We were stoked to be invited to show our latest collection alongside WA label Kirrikin, at the 2018 Telstra Perth Fashion Festival (8 September)! The show was titled ABORIGINAL RUNWAY: DJURIP DJENNA KOOLING which the audience learnt during the fabulous Welcome to Country, means in a local Noongar dialect, 'walking with a bit of style', or 'feeling a bit special, strong, powerful. Perfect for both Magpie Goose and Kirrikin's aesthetic and ethos!
There was a diverse range of strong, powerful, fabulous women walking for both Magpie Goose and Kirrikin, including emerging Indigenous models who flew down from Broome, and the Pilbara! They all looked so amazing in the prints that tell such rich cultural stories of country, dreamings, bush food, sea life and everything in between! Check out some shots from the day, below (photo credits - Stefan Gosatti).
