Fabric care

Magpie Goose textiles are hand crafted and unique

Each metre of fabric is hand screen printed - this means that fabulous variations and one off masterpieces often occur!

Print colours are hand mixed - so they might be a little bit different each time! While we try to ensure consistency of fabric colour and print colour - this is not always possible. That's what makes Magpie Goose special - each piece is unique!

Look after your mate

Magpie Goose sources designs that are printed on natural fibres - we love to work with linens, cottons (and linen/cotton blends!) and silks - perfect for the Down South Australian summer, or the endless summer of The North!

The Art Centres use quality inks, these are printed by hand using silk screens. The fabric is then baked in a huge oven to heat set the designs.

We recommend washing your Magpie Goose clothing by hand in cold water, and drying in the shade. If you want to iron it, make sure it's inside out. As designs are ink on fabric - they will fade and wear over time.
