We're excited to be returning to Gimuy (Cairns) for the 2026 Cairns Indigenous Art Fair (CIAF), one of Australia's most significant celebrations of First Nations arts and culture.
Each year, CIAF brings together artists, designers, performers and visitors from across the country to celebrate the strength, diversity and innovation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander creativity. It's a vibrant festival of art, fashion, music, performance and cultural exchange, and we're proud to be part of it once again.
The festival begins with the ticketed CIAF Opening Night on Thursday 9 July, a large-scale celebration marking the official launch of CIAF 2026. From Friday 10 to Sunday 12 July, the Free Public Program invites audiences to explore exhibitions, talks, masterclasses, live performances, fashion experiences and the renowned ethical art marketplace across the festival precincts.
Experience the Quandamooka Collection on the Runway
This year, Magpie Goose will present the entire Quandamooka Collection during Show 2 of the Fashion Performance.
The collection showcases original artworks by Quandamooka artists, transformed into contemporary Australian-made clothing that celebrates culture, storytelling and connection to Country.
We're also thrilled to offer an exclusive preview of two brand new looks featuring artworks by Libby Harward and Leeanne Enoch. These new designs will make their runway debut at CIAF before their official release.
Whether you've followed the collection since its launch or are discovering it for the first time, the runway is a wonderful opportunity to experience the prints brought to life through movement and design.
