Keep Burning by Keisha Leon

"The graphic plays on multiple perspectives around this year’s NAIDOC theme ‘Keep the fire burning’, and ties them together through our common connection of people and Country. Connecting the graphic to Firesticks, the artwork speaks to the action of cultural burning (rings) and also the intergenerational transfer and growth of cultural fire practice. The tone of the artwork also reflects the greater drive for First Nations people’s future and the protection of Country, the need to keep the fire burning to shape change." Keisha Leon
