It all started in February 2018, when Samara Billy came to a Magpie Goose fashion show in Katherine. "I'd love to see some of our designs out there in the world, and to get some of our girls feeling confident like that" - she posted on Facebook that night. National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. These latest earrings are from our recent collaboration with HopeVale!  Our earring project was designed in 2018 through a collaboration with local NT designers Elliat Rich and James Young of Elbow Workshop in Alice Springs.
